Starting to figure out where the enginehouse will be planted.
I could have placed the enginehouse farther away from the inner edge of the layout, but I like this better since it gives more access to the lift-off roofs for pictures. The enginehouse also has to be placed a bit farther away from the turntable as the two outer tracks have to be curved to match up to the the turntable.
As I mentioned before I'm not sure if I'm going to hand lay these three tracks or not, due to the curves. But on the other hand the hand laid track will probably be more rigid.
The enginehouse will be pretty close to the upper level in the back but I can cut that back a bit I I intended to have the engine facilities surrounded by mountain sides as a scenry block to the looging run above and behind. (subject to change)
