Greetings, gang.
68 and humid this morning with an allocated high in the mid 80s. Some light fog which is rapidly dissipating.
After cleaning up the grave site I took the pollution solution vehicle out for another test ride with the new speedometer. Very odd result. Initially the new speedometer ran about a tenth of a mile faster than the old (verified) one. I stopped and reset both at some mile markers provided by the city and started again. This time the two were in lock step. Today I will run some more testing.
First up though will be an event that will determine my plans for the next couple of weeks. I need to get the tires rotated and the brakes looked at. If that can be done today or tomorrow then I can leave on Wednesday for the west coast following Highway 20 after my annual physical. If they can't get it done until later in the week then my trip will be delayed. I want the brakes looked at as they have over 100,000 miles on them. I also need to pick up my new glasses but I will work that in around the maintenance on the car.
Mikey - I hope your cooler weather arrives as scheduled. This may come as a shock but the NWS is (very rarely) not quite as accurate as they claim.
All stay safe.
Tom
