68 and clear this morning in the remote reaches of northern Iowa. The NWS has scheduled more of the same for today along with a high temperature in the mid 80s.
Yesterday was quite productive. Took a 17 mile bike ride and then sharpened the blade on the mower and mowed the yard. Fun fact: a 5/8 socket and and a16mm socket are almost the same size. The 16mm fits better. Either one will work for removing the blade on my mower. So far the only item on my agenda for today is a trip to the gym. No major plans for the weekend.
Gas is on the downward side of the the yo-yo pricing model used by the major oil companies. After jumping almost 30 cents on Tuesday the price dropped 9 cnets yesterday to $4.02
