Just a small update as I tinker with this scene.
I was going to start tracklaying when I realized that the enginehouse was still a bit tall so I had to take everything apart and shim my splice blocks down the width of a toothpick. With that fixed. I added the ties and ballast for the rest of turntable tracks. I hand laid the first track by laying the right rail down first, spiking it down and then laid the left rail down using the right for proper guage. The two curved track are probably the hardest but not inpossible. I'll do the second curved track next.
