Greetings, gang.
64 under cloudy skies this morning. Looks to be another week of pleasant temperatures with lows in the 60s and highs in the low to mid 80s. No rain in sight until the weekend.
Fairly quiet recently but activity will be on the rise as the new school year begins. First sporting activity is Thursday - a cross county track meet with one of the great-grandsons. I've already purchased my season ticket for pretty much all the kids' home sporting events through next summer. The biggest savings will come next spring when baseball starts.
In entertainment news Wiley vs. Acme will be released this coming Friday. The premise is that Wiley Coyote of Road Runner fame sues the Acme company. Could be lots of fun or it could be a dud. I'll find out next Tuesday when the local theater has $5.50 showings. By the time it's over it will still cost about $20 with the popcorn and drink.
Gas is down to $3.89. Glad to see it coming down as both the car and the SuperCruiser need to be fed.
