Greetings, gang.
Cloudy with the threat of rain. According to the NWS there's a 30% chance the line of small thunderstorms will move south. 73 now headed to near 90.
Yesterday's weather was very similar which made riding the bike (17 miles) and cleaning acorns both very sweaty jobs. After I got cleaned up from those I went to a cross country track meet about 6. The heat and humidity were still nasty so there was yet another shower when I got home. We were all concerned about my great-grandson after the race. The weather really took the wind out of his sails. When he went to change I went with to make sure he didn't collapse.
Not sure why but I woke up about 2:30 this morning and couldn't go back to sleep. Took the laptop and at on the porch until about 4. About 3 the wind picked up and started shaking loose more acorns. Sounded like a hail storm for a while. This morning I'll be cleaning more acorns but that will be pretty much be the extent of my activities. I didn't make it to see Wiley VS Acme due to the track meet but the local theater's web site shows it will still be here next cheap ticket Tuesday when there are no school activities scheduled.
