Rainbows in the Lehigh Valley Gorge

Next on the detail parts install were some rain shields over the intake grills of my D&H C628.  Most of the early models in the D&H fleet had these 1116.1343123837.jpg (1200×819).  Cal Scale makes a brass set of two (part number 190-538).  They fold up on the two sides and they provide 4 brass mounting pins to secure into the shell.  I'll hit it with a couple more coats of paint before I get to the one on the other side of the loco.
