One question - what's a "sea salt mask" :?:

Its a weathering technique where you paint the model a rusty color, then wet it with water, and stick sea salt to it, once the water dries the salt sticks, then you can paint the model the finishing color, once thats dry, you rub the salt off and it'll expose the underlying rusty color...

I plan to describe it in an article later this year.
