Poor shipping service

As Wayne said, we are off the beaten path, 4 miles from the state route, however, the delivery drivers all know the area and know us. They even keep treats in their pockets for the dogs. My problem is when a package is tracked and supposed to be delivered on a certain day, It should be delivered. I understand that things can happen to prevent a delivery, but please at least lie to me. They could have said "delivery delayed due to truck being struck by train" . Now that is sure better then "no attempt made"
