I was asked about the "cotton" tufts poking thru the torn seat---- It's not cotton --- I made that from a tiny bit of a "cat tail" plant. It pulls apart in nice tiny tufts & is tannish which makes it look like dirty cotton --- painting cotton would be a bit tough as it would mess it up. I found a whole bundle of cattails about 1/4 inch in diameter at a 99 cent store -- when I bought them I had NO IDEA what I could do with them, it just seemed like a good idea at the time!
