On this one, I think the goose neck comes off and the ramp is the front of the bed itself. After being loaded, the gooses neck is then hooked back to the trailer. I think that type trailer requires the tractor pulling it to have air suspension. The driver would "dump" the air out of the suspension, and the tractor would lower enough to put the bed on the ground. Then the drive would unhook the goose neck, fill the air bags, and pull away from the rest of the trailer. After the trailer was loaded/unloaded, the driver would back up to the trailer, dump the bags, hook up the goose neck to the trailer, and then refill the bags and be ready to haul the trailer away.
