Nice work on making those decals, Les. 
"Cookie" is GERN founder Charles Gibson's nickname, dating back to the early-1920s when he was a high-flying centre for the Shawinigan Syrup Kings of the Eastern Hockey League. He's also a Member of Big Blue, although running GERN and living the high life generally takes up most of his time, so he seldom posts here.
He was recently interviewed for Popular Flux magazine, but I've yet to read that particular issue.
