Your handlayed track looks great. 
I have always liked the look of handlayed track. My plan for my new layout is to handlay some of the track. I already have a Fast Tracks #6 turnout jig for code 83 rail for building my turnouts. I have built a couple with it and very happy with the results.
I am looking forward to seeing some more pictures of your track work as you make progress.
