Ten years later, perhaps almost to the day, 6866 was caught as she passed through South Cayuga. Slightly dirtier, she was re-weighed at Enola, in January of 1947, a good fit for Charlie's planned late-'40s/early-'50s layout:

In 1955, with several more re-weighings and many thousands of miles passed, the old girl made another local appearance, this time at Lowbanks. The re-weigh work was performed at the West Side scale at New Castle PA.:

Evidently a frequent visitor to the area, she was also photographed on at least two other occasions, both times on the Elfrida team track:

I hope that some of you who have taken the time to view this post will try a few modifications to a kit or r-t-r freight car, or perhaps alter a car's lettering to reflect the passage of time, or maybe add some weathering.
