To keep with the 1940's them I just had to add some pin up art and a wooden portable radio. So I did some web searching for some images , reduced them down to HO scale, and gave them a home. For the radio I glued the pic to a piece of strip wood, stained it, and added a handle.
As this was going on the paint shop started on the marker lights. They are the only parts that I purchased for this contest.
The rear of the bunks was really bugging me, They just looked unfinished. I had some left over wood veneer from the last kit bash challenge, that got cut to size and glued in to fill the back of the bunk to hide the weights.
