I especially like your hybrid turnout using the CV tie strip and it's very much what I plan to do when I get around to building that second level of my layout. The CV ties have the detail that's lacking from handlaid track, but still allow, within reason, turnouts built-to-fit with the smoothness afforded by handlaying.
