Although it seems theres entire types of coil cars and hood sizes and shapes no one makes models of too. But seeing two CSX hoods on a CSX car is pretty rare. There's a jade green NYC car in captive service here that seemingly always has a totally rust brown round corrugated hood with a round GT hood. Love that one.

I went ahead and sold all 9 of the Walthers Gold Line Cushion Coil Cars that I had in the pictures to make room for the 9 Red Caboose BNSF Cushion Coil Cars im going to get. This way ill have all the cars for the road im modeling and they will all be different numbers.

i know ill get at least 9 of them but may suck it up and just get all 12 and do a bit of modifying to the hoods to mix it up a little bit to get some different paint schemes in the mix as you suggested in your post. They should look good spotted at the Rolling Mill and in the yard
