As a relative newbie here, I would be saddened if this thread ceased. Some links to the previous photo are a bit tentative at times and I apologise if I have made any mistakes. Had the comment by Charlie not included the LOL icon, it would have seemed quite offensive.
Surely it is better to gently point out any discrepancies in a particular post than to want to discontinue the thread? There are many superb (and quite rare) pictures here which may have otherwise gone unposted, which surely has to be a good thing?
My offerings are neccessarily limited as I have only made one trip to southern California in 1998, but if appropriate it gives me pleasure to post and sometimes get favourable comments. 8-)
