Polly Scale Discontinued??
#6
I still use Floquil! And I swear by it!

Back in the '70's and '80's when I was custom painting brass (and the occasional plastic shell, yeah, I'll admit it,) d.b.a. "The Brass Backshop," I kept "stocking up" on the colors that I used most often as well as keeping at least two bottles of any other colors that I would only use on occasion, "just in case." [I had a "couple bucks" invested in Floquil!]

When I moved this last time, I counted six 9"x9"x14" Rubbermaid® tubs full of Floquil, much of it the original formula! I had two one gallon cans of Diosol, but they have mysteriously disappeared ... hmmmmmmm! Curse Luckily, it seens that regular old lacquer thinner works just fine for atomizing pigment by airbrush and for "cleaning up."

Thanks for the tip, doctorwayne!

But the threat of losing Polly Scale, just as I'm starting to be comfortable with it, annoys me more than a wasp up my pant leg!
