We have a spur about 20 miles from here that used to service some industries It was a 5% grade most of the way. It was a PRR line off of the main. There is another, though I don't think it is still active, that used to service a steel mill that was very steep too, probably a little steeper because it wasn't so long. This was off the P&LE, so I can get away with it, my grade is only 5 cars long, theirs was a mile or better.
