While I'm there, I'll try to get some pictures of the reinforcement methods for you.

Here's some of Old Sac I've taken a few years back, the second photo you can clearly see the concrete block reinforcements

Those are great pictures! to model this, I'd need a blend of craftsman type and DPM style buildings, add some reinforcement plates and be all set. By the way were these taken during a festive period, seeing the decorations on each building?
