Hi Mike...
Great video..!! Nice tour of your layout. Among other things, I really like your backdrops, particularly those with a SW'rn flavor. Did you paint these yourself..??
I'm getting to the point of having to paint some before work can continue on the layout, but haven't the faintest idea of what, and how, to paint them... :oops:

Any input would be most welcome....

I first paint the backdrop with sky and then I use a small foam roller to put on the thinned greyish background mountains. After that I use a combination of commercial backdrps with the sky cut off and then i blend them with paints and color back in any removed details.

PS i sometimes cut uildings right out of the Walthers HO catalog and use them.
