Mikey, that ought to be the builder's plate from EMD, like these: http://www.sonic.net/~jayreed/RRCommBP.html...IIRC, lease/trust plates on the frame, below the walkway, toward the "B" end. PC/CR units had a cast rectangular "tag" (same as freight cars) with the legal "boiler-plate" in cast letters, the date, etc.,engraved or stamped...Bob C.
