That motel reminds me of many that were to be found on the old Route 66 as it wound its way westward. I drove on that road many times in the days where long stretches of it were still 2 lane only...and Holiday Inns were few and far between.

Aaahhh....the good ol' days....

Me too Gus. My folks drove 66 with me in the car many many times as well.
