Hi...I spent quite a few years in R/C aircraft, at the competition level....so trains took a back seat to that for some time..I got back into MR'ing full time when R/C got to be more stressfull than fun...(Although I do have a glider kit in the closet & a brand new R/C transmitter for Christmas 
)
I picked up a liking to electronics along the way, and have recently built two transistorized throttles for the layout....Some of you guys should try it..It's really a lot of fun..!!
