Are those ice breakers on top of the FPA-4s?

Good guess, Ralph. I put them on any A-units used in passenger service in case the train they were pulling had a dome car in the consist.


The normal locos for the lightweight train were these E-units, an E8/9A from Model Power:


...and an E7B (made from two A-units), also from Model Power:


Both of the E-units, along with 8 cars of the train, went to Deano, while Ed has the two baggage cars, along with the FPs and a few other items.
