Believe me - a DCC loco won't necessarily crawl any better than a DC loco. I have a twin motored 44-Tonner by Bachmann in HO which will move 5" in 6 minutes - get, or build, a DECENT quality DC PWM (Pulse width Modulated) throttle - <!-- m --><a class="postlink" href="http://www3.sympatico.ca/kstapleton3/851.HTM">http://www3.sympatico.ca/kstapleton3/851.HTM</a><!-- m --> can be bought as a kit or built (just a VERY satisfied customer!)

Unless you really need to run more than one train on a layout at a time, the extra cost of DCC is a waste of resources
