Wayne, I gotta wear shades when working on the layout
. Seems to be quite common to dispose of tires that way in this part of Miami. I found plenty when I looked around, so that I can have some more on my layout

Russ, thank you for the confirmation. The light green grass is "wild grass spring green" from Heki (#1841). I haven’t used it before, so I only bought one package to try it out. I’ll be back at the LHS today to get some more in different colors, because it is the best model grass I used so far. It looks as good as the Silflor prairie tufts (the dark green grass in the pic), but it is much easier to cover bigger areas and it is even cheaper than the Silflor tufts.
