Thanks, Michael. It's not entirely un-prototypical for my modeling area, either. In David Myrick's book, Railroads of Arizona, Volume 3, there is a photo of a similar stacked tunnel arrangement with the Shannon Railroad and the Coronado Railroad, both 3' gauge lines. If you ever run across that book in a library, take a look through it - it's a cool reference for narrow-gauge enthusiasts. The nearby Morenci Southern Railroad, also 3', had a situation where the track passed over itself in a loop, and the lower track was in a tunnel. These were definitely "a prototype for everything" railroads!
