I went lookiing for a new tool I bought a few days ago. It was inna plastic bag from the store. Well, she was doing some cleaning and decided to grab the bag off the table, stuffed it with trash and put it in the large bag that goes to curbside. If it weren't for me looking to use the thing it would have made it to curbside to be a mystery evermore. I asked her if she saw the bag from Home Depot. I started doing that nutsy whipping around the house looking under cushions and such. I asked if she threw any bags out. "Only what I put in the trash". BINGO. There it was. About elbow deep (and I won't say more).

Good luck with the search.

I did that once... I bought $200 worth of giftcards for my LHS (to save for the Rapido coaches that are coming soon!) and sure enough, somehow the envelope containing them made it into the garbage... not just any garbage, the kitchen garbage. Then the cat box was emptied into same said garbage, along with the ferret box...

I didn't realize it until about two days AFTER my wife took the bags to the dumpster out back. Thankfuly I got out there and opened it up to notice that the truck never came yet... the worst part? it was burried about half way down, and stuck in that disgusting bag of animal poo and food! but I got my giftcards back! One hour before the truck came to pick up the dumpster!

I took an hour long shower after that....
