So the Digitrax units do not work when you plug it into the NMRA 8 pin socket? And to top that off, it zaps the decoders?
WOW! What did you have to do to make them work? Per there instructions, of course.

You misunderstood me here. I said they do work very nicely. The instructions suck. I cooked both pieces because the instructions don't explain the correct way to install the sound bug. I did it wrong but they replaced both pieces no problem. You MUST go to their website to get correct orientation of the sound bug. Then you have to find it, not an easy task for me. But they sent me a printed copy after I told them I don't have access to internet, OK I told a white lie, I was pretty upset with them not including it with sound bug literature.
