If you really wanted to be lazy, I'd just go with some Black paint over the logos, and a "KPW" reporting mark. Considering you model a railroad that appears to be dependant on the cash-strapped Penn Central for traffic, I'm surprised the KP&W is doing well enough to paint all of it's equipment!

It appears other railroads in the northeast weren't so lucky!

Incidentally, Penn Central-component New Haven was known to have different paint schemes on different locomotives. FL9s, EP5s, and some other electrics got the "McGinnis" scheme. New Haven's E33s (EF4s) recieved a unique scheme, and their U25Bs also appeared to have a scheme different from the normal black and orange on New Haven freight diesels.

New Haven E33 paint scheme was bold and distinctive. Still one of my favorite "modern" scheme on an electric locomotive.

I suspect KP&W's success is what makes other roads suffer! ;-)
