Well , the text people ( and similar devices ) get 'em early . The school bus stops near our house in the afternoon . My wife and I are usually sitting out having a cup of tea with the dog . Virtually every kid , regardless of age , gets off the bus with headphones on ( listening to ipod ) or staring at their text machine / cellphone . It's a good thing there isn't an open manhole around , they'd walk right into it .
I went to a junior hockey game the other night ....same thing , kids don't watch the game , they walk around with their little machines , staring at them . So the retailers of these devices have done a marvelous job of " grabbing " everyone , especially the kids .
