You are right, the 2763 became 9613. I did find this photos of RDG 2763 ( <!-- m --><a class="postlink" href="http://www.rrpicturearchives.net/locoPicture.aspx?id=48816">http://www.rrpicturearchives.net/locoPi ... x?id=48816</a><!-- m --> ) of the engine before and after the crash. It was my assumption that the engine must have been plain green with patches in the early CR time. The Athearn model is plain green so must have been the RDG 2763.
