It started snowing here the beginning of November and has not stopped. In sheltered areas as in wooded areas the snow is knee deep, in open areas the snow banks are three and four feet deep. The plows are back on the roads every three or four days clearing the new snow. The last three years we have had excessive precipitation, it started in 2010 when we got 48 inches of rain plus snow, the average yearly precipitation including snow is 12 to 13 inches here. 2011 and 12 have been all most as wet. Flooding here in the prairies is becoming a big problem, and its going to get a lot worse in the spring if this keeps up.
