I think you're quite happy being able to keep them outside too, that's a decent size spider. The biggest ones we have here are a little bigger than the size of a polyscale bottle cap, and they make a mess (horizontal webs etc) and run very fast too so hard to catch. Can't imagine the mess one of those (I assume a kind of Tarantula) makes. How do you catch them if they do get in the house, and do you have to be careful not to get bitten?
