I have a power pack which I built long ago and now having a problem with it. I trouble shooted it and found out where I am in need of a potentiometer. Radio Shack doesn't have one and I am at a loss as to where I could find one. It is a 250 Ohm NPN pot. If someone knows any electronics hobby stores where I might bye one, please let me know.

The two places that come to mind are, Mouser and Digi-Key. They both have a large array of electronic parts and I don't think either of them have a minimum order requirement. I am a bit confused though about your NPN designation. Is that a manufacturer's part designation? When we speak of NPN, it's usually in reference to a transistor. When talking about pots, 250 ohm is just a start, one has to know the power rating, is it linear or tapered, wire-wound or carbon, and how it's mounted are a few things you need to know before ordering. A manufacturer's name and part number would help to zero in on what you need.
