Reinhard, probably I will paint the backside of the glazing before gluing the windows in, but I still have to try out if it looks good or if I can find a better solution … but I am in no hurry, because I want to finish the other buildings and lay groundcover first.
Ed, I love those curved structures and especially this one. I wanted to build it from the moment that I first saw it.
Rscott, to operate my layout I have to attach my 7 ft. extension and I can only attach it to the left side. Without the extension the runaround is useless. I could have built a shorter runaround to operate the layout without the need of an extension, but that would have limited the value of the runaround and it would have been necessary to compress the whole scene. But I wanted to build it without any scenic compression and without limiting operational possibilities, so flipping the layout was the only way to achieve that.
