Hello again Matt---whenever Doctor Wayne takes on a project for me,we spend some enjoyable time doing research on the item.Books and Google are often the best source of information.Here's a great book for CNR equipment---there are pages filled with pictures and data that provide invaluable information.For example,here's a couple of snowplows in the orange and experimental black colours---note the modern CN logos on both so they may not be suitable for your modelling time frame.The data with the orange plow indicates the orange scheme was applied after 1961.The black scheme may have been applied as early as 1937---gives you more options to think about.Hopefully you may be able to get a copy of this excellent book,perhaps your local library.
