The class 66's of EWS (now DB Shenker) - known here as "red sheds", were originally ordered by Ed Burkhardt of Wisconsin Central, who took over most of our freight traffic when it was privatised. So the likeness is not accidental. 
It will eventually disappear as they are repainted into DB red, but this will take quite some time.
