I tried something new this week, after an idea I saw in MR mag. One of the editors casted rocks for an N scale layout in the magazine, using aluminum foil. I wasnt real found of the pics in the mag, but figured it was worth a try, cause molds cost money and mom wouldnt notice if I took some tinfoil! Well I got MUCH better resuls than the ones in the pictures of the magazine. Im really "green" when it comes to scenery, and my rocks actually look like they could have been done by someone with lots of experience to me! lol I would love to post up some pics, and a little how to, but my camera is broke, might try borrowing one. Has anyone else tried this before?
