Hi guys
Just a quick question from across the pond. Over the years railroads in the US have gradually been amalgamated and signals have changed in the way they function and the way they look, from semaphore through position lights, searchlights and two or three color lights. I have read page after page of website info and looked at so many photos of bnsf rail but am unable to confirm in any way which were used when.
So question is, in the early bnsf era which type of signal was being used on bnsf routes or, as I suspect, due to the amalgamation to what is now bnsf, were all types of signal found 'somewhere' on the bnsf routes?
