Here is another source of rivets to consider:

I can't recommend the archer rivits enough. They go on like decals, but are basically made of resin. And yeah, you can add them in strips straight off the sheet, or you can cut and apply them individually, and even paint right over them. In my opinion, VERY user friendly for any use. You just need to know what size you want.
