The Milwaukee Road Historical Association has a Special Publication #6 on that subject. It is named "The Milwaukee Road in Chicago" and has printed price tag of $20. I did order it some years ago and they promptly sent it over the pond to Germany.
It is soft cover and has 82 pages lots of photos and covers the MILW in zones

3. Pacific Junction - C&E Junction
4. Deering Line and C&E North Line
5. C&E South line and Goose Island
6. Pacific Junction - Western Avenus
