Got some more work done today:

The weather forecast predicts another fine day for outdoor activities tomorrow, so I'll see if I can finish the covering and go over all the joints with a caulking gun and some sealant, then it's track laying time!!
Vigdis has also made some progress on the railcar. The frame has been given two coats of primer with some light sanding in between, and three thin coats of black. The driver's cabin is left untreated in the assembly instructions, but we wanted a gray finish:

Along with a bright red engine, I think this will be a fun little splash of color amongst all the greenery on the layout!
