Google Earth+Ebay = new project?

Yes Wayne, definitely burly. And the tank style means the capacity to add a lot of weight. There's still room to add more weight, but I am worried about making sure it is balanced, and also questioning whether it is necessary. It already had no problem with a train as long as my layout could handle up a 4% grade.

this has been a rewarding and fun project so far - I really like building and kitbashing locomotives, and I have learned so many techniques that I no longer find the prospect of custom building a locomotive out of plastic daunting. Those rivet decals work excellent, BTW.

I get the feeling that when I get this all done, it will be my favorite Narrow Gauge locomotive on my roster. I envision it would be used as a switcher for the smelter, but I get the feeling I may use it on all kinds of trains Smile
