DIGITRAX WITH SOUND

I just installed my first Digitrax decoder It was a DH160LO it is designed to go in P2K GP7 or 9. I installed it in a Riverossi 4-6-4. Then plugged in a Sound Bug SFX004. Now I found the instructions hard to follow and proceded to burn out both units. Digitrax replaced both of them for me no charge. They told me go to their website for better directions. I said I can't so they mailed it to me. I feel they should include it with decoder. The problem is when the soundbug is hooked up with the decoder. Not in my wireing of the locomotive. I tried another decoder with 8 pin plug it worked fine. Anyway on with the story. Using the newly received instructions I proceeded with no problem. I have not fine tuned it yet but I already love it. F7 gives you a crossing signal whistle, it has all the sounds I want. the chuff rate is apparently not changeable. I have contacted them about this and will update when I know
