Very effective backscene, and shows the difference that curved corners make to the overall scene.

I never tire of seeing your backdrop scenes, Greg. I'll go on record as saying they are the best mountain scene backdrops I've ever run across. Superb.

I also enjoy seeing photos of everyone's layouts in the "as is" state, with allthe clutter and tools and such everywhere. Looking forward to more progress. Thumbsup

Gary: Thanks, I have been enjoying your experimenting in backdrops very much and plan to borrow some of your ideas in the future. As for the clutter, the disadvantage of having your train room and work room be the same room seems that nothing is ever clean. I am glad that you enjoy mt mess Thumbsup

I have finished my backdrop for now, I still will need to blend the foreground to the background but that is a ways off. I can now move on to sub roadbed!!!

I did rarely see another mountain/forest backdrop hand painted of that quality. You are a gifted painter. Very well done Thumbsup

Greg, the downside of having a seperate workroom from the train room is that instead of having one messy area, you have two!

THANKS GUYS!!!!

I have really enjoyed working on the backdrop and it sure does make the room look bigger!!!

I am really looking to getting the subroadbed down so I get the workbench cleared off and get back to "work" on some of my modeling projects.

Thanks guys!!!

Ok onto the subroadbed, although not as dramatic as the backdrop a vital step in completing the layout...

Looking good as always Greg. I see you are using some screws with your benchwork, but it also looks like you used some nails too?
