I could make it easier on myself by picking J.J........seriously , I think the guy could drive blindfolded and with Chad Knaus' divine guidance he would finish top 10 . I just can't bring myself to pick the guy ....so , lets see , who HAVEN'T I picked ?? ...will DW come out of retirement ?

Joey Logano is probably a good dark horse, I would have picked him as my 5th but it would have been over my salary cap.

My picks for the last few years have mostly been based on age, so Joey and Brad were my first choices. It seems to me what these youngsters lack in experience is made up in enthusiasm and lack of fear. Thanks to them I am currently the top of the list but I take no credit for any choosing skills.

Just after I arrived in Canada a long time ago I was flipping through the channels and stopped when I saw this guy stretched out in a deck chair on the race track as if he was sunning himself. It was however pouring with rain, he was approached by an interviewer who aked him how much gas he had left in his car, his reply "about a million dollars worth". I thought this was one of the funniest scenes I had ever witnessed in motorsports and have been an avid fan of NASCAR ever since. Yup DW, and he hasn't failed to amuse me since then, so pleased he became a colour commentator.

I agree , DW is a breath of fresh air in a mostly boring commentary IMO ........his brother , Michael ....let's just say I turn OFF the sound when he's on . Between he and Kyle Petty you have a couple of career 35th place finishers for most of their time on the track , especially Kyle . Now they are "experts "
