Eleven years ago at the Kiski. This was the first time the local had to use the runaround track that we had been using for 7 years. They had an unusually long train and they wanted to put both locomotives on the same end.     Charlie

I model the 40's to mid 50's, so these shots provide a lot of info on the overall "look" of railroads back then... Thumbsup

Just below Wellsville, Ohio Branch Interlocking is the switch to one leg of the wye at Yellow Creek, and it was controlled from Yellow Creek Tower.  The helper set will assist a coal train that has just headed up the Branch track which connects to the Bayard branch at the other end of this leg.  Very few trains use these tracks today.
